Mr. Seaton specializes in legal writing and appellate practice involving complex legal issues to support the litigation of serious injury, civil rights, and employment discrimination cases. Recently, he successfully represented clients in the Court of Appeals in several cases involving governmental misconduct, including Swagin v. California State Police, 163 F.3d 501 (9th cir, 1999), and Lucich v. City of Oakland (1993) 19 Cal. App4th 494. Mr. Seaton is a graduate of Boalt Hall, University of California, Berkeley, 1974 and was a member of the Law Review.
