Plaintiff was one of several teenagers who were driving in Fairfield when they were hit broadside by a tractor trailer being driven by an intoxicated truck driver.
CMS&C investigated the case and learned that the trucking company had hired the truck driver despite his six prior felony convictions. The truck driver was sentenced to prison for 8 years and CMS&C obtained a $2.3 million recovery for their client, one of the passengers in the vehicle.
