Mr. Casper specializes in litigating serious injury cases.  Mr. Casper is board certified in Civil Trial Advocacy by the National Board of Trial Advocacy.  Recently, he negotiated a medical negligence settlement against the Contra Costa Hospital on behalf of an injured child for a future payout exceeding $70 million. He graduated from Boalt Hall, University of California, Berkeley in 1973. He was admitted to the California State and Federal Bars the same year, and to the U.S. Supreme Court in 1977. Mr. Casper is past President of the Contra Costa County Barristers Association and served as President of the Contra Costa County Bar Association for 1993. He was formerly an instructor in "Trial Practice" at Boalt Hall and continues to lecture to practicing attorneys.
