Khando joined Casper, Meadows, Schwartz & Cook in 2025 as an associate. Khando brings with her a background in immigration law and trauma-informed lawyering that has shaped her client-centered approach as a plaintiff’s lawyer. She has played a key role in advancing complex litigation, working alongside the managing partners on high-stakes products liability, wrongful death, and premises liability cases. Her skill and versatility make her exceptionally equipped to handle any personal injury matter with confidence and care.
Khando understands that behind every case is a real person dealing with pain, financial stress, and uncertainty. That’s why she approaches her practice with both compassion and determination, giving clients the support they need while fighting for the justice and compensation they deserve.
Khando earned her law degree from the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings) in 2024. She participated in the Refugee and Human Rights Clinic and was a mentor and member of the Women of Color Collective (WOCC). Khando also devoted her time to her community and advocated for accessibility to legal education by co-founding the Law Empowerment and Access Project (LEAP). She is deeply passionate about LEAP as its mission is to bridge the gap of legal education to underrepresented minorities through diverse representation and mentorship to pursue higher education.
In her free time, Khando likes to walk around her neighborhood in San Francisco taking pictures with her old film camera.
